Copywriting Practice: A marketing professional once asked me to execute a headline exercise. The task? Create headlines for the Heinz Ketchup brand.

Here are the highlights:

“Paint the town ketchup.”

“Biologically speaking, it’s fruit juice.”

“Heinz ketchup contains 100% less corn syrup than Coors Light.”

“Do the right thing. Drink your Heinz with a reusable straw.”

“Condiments are inherently bipartisan. Vote Heinz.”

“Heinz ketchup. Chances are there’s some in your fridge already.”
